Fourth stop: Serignan and the Languedoc region

Sérignan is a small town in the Languedoc region of France on the banks of the Orb river. It is located near the Mediterranean coast but closer to the Spanish border. The nearest big town is Béziers. It used to be a quiet little village about 20 years ago but developped tremendously since then. It is quite near the costal town of Valras (now referred to as Valras-Plage to emphasize the beach (plage in French) connection. It is quite popular with German and Dutch tourists in the summer.
There we visited my grandparents Pierre and Simone (here 4 generations are pictured with my mom and daughter as well as myself. Unfortunately my granfather has since then passed away.
Jean-Marc, Valérie, and Pépé, short for Granpa (Pierre).
